Combining efficiency, convenience, precision & reproducibility; Spectrum's Equilibrium Dialyzers are specifically designed to perform complex
binding studies essential in biochemistry and pharmacology. Up to 20 independent studies are conducted simultaneously under the same controlled
environmental conditions. Each non-binding Teflon reaction cell contains a dialysis membrane disc through which ligand freely passes
from one half-cell and irreversibly binds to macromolecules trapped in the second half-cell. There are 3 reaction cell sizes available (Micro Cell,
Semi-micro Cell & Macro Cell) each providing a different half-cell volume for the reaction solutions. Cell carriers containing 5 loaded and
stacked cells are submerged in a water bath and rotated continuously to maximize binding efficiency and minimize concentration polarization.
By operating the Equilibrium Dialyzer in a cold room or with heated water supply, binding studies can be conducted under an ideal temperature
(-10 to 65 °C). There are two flat-sheet equilibrium dialysis systems available, depending on the preferred quantity of reaction cells.

This easy to operate flat-sheet dialysis system is designed to simultaneously
conduct 5 different binding studies under the same environmental
conditions. Locked into a base plate assembly, the cell
carrier containing 5 loaded reaction cells is submerged in a water bath
and rotated by a drive belt. The drive unit can be adjusted from 5 to
20 RPM to achieve optimum dialysis conditions while the water bath
circulates for ultimate temperature control.

Designed to accommodate up to 20 independent binding reactions,
the 20-Cell Equilibrium Dialyzer provides maximum results for minimal
effort. This flat-sheet dialysis system with easy-to-carry recessed handles
sits inside of an acrylic water bath that provides temperature control.
Up to 4 cell carriers are rotated with a 5 to 30 RPM adjustable
speed control. All components in direct contact with the water bath
are built of corrosion resistant stainless steel and plastics.
