Sterile, pyrogen-free & ready-to-use, the Spectra/Por Tube-A-Lyzer is a revolutionary "disposable dynamic dialysis
device" designed for the rapid yet gentle separation of shear-sensitive solutes in large sample volumes.
The self-contained design consists of a central membrane chamber (Biotech RC or CE tubing) for
holding 5-100 ml of delicate sample and a surrounding outer chamber that connects to a dialysate source
by means of the included tubing. Circulating dialysate on the outside of the semi-permeable membrane
"sweeps" away solutes that pass through to significantly increase the mass transfer rate. Needle-less access
ports to the sample chamber allows convenient in-process testing or recovery for when the separation is
complete. Ideal for cGMP applications, the Tube-A-Lyzer eliminates the risks of membrane breakage and
contamination associated with membrane handling.
